The account

We collect and use personal data when you register on our website or in our store. This data is collected in order to create a customer account, only if necessary for the sales process, and also to offer you a more personalized and enjoyable shopping experience.

When you register on the website, we collect your first and last name, email address, loyalty card number, phone number, and date of birth.

If you wish to create an account, simply register on the website www.sergent-major.com by clicking on the “Login” section on the home page. Then, fill in the various personal details and click on the “Validate” section. During registration, you will be asked to choose a password. If you try to register and an error message indicates that your username has already been used, it means that your email address has already been used to create an account on www.sergent-major.com. Data retention period

GPE only retains Data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable French or European legal or regulatory obligations.

In general, data is retained after the last connection to the site as long as the customer has not deleted their account and for a maximum period of 36 months from the collection of your data or the last contact made by the user or the closure of the customer account.

Cookies are kept for a maximum period of 13 months.

The right of access.

This allows the Customer, upon proof of identity and if the conditions for exercising this right are met, to obtain communication of personal data concerning them.

The right of rectification.

This allows the Customer to request that their personal data be modified, updated, or deleted when it is inaccurate or incomplete.

The right to deletion/erasure.

This allows the Customer to request the erasure of their personal data free of charge, within the limits of our legal obligations. All customers also have the option of deleting their account and the personal data associated with it. If you delete your account, we will retain your data if necessary, until all your questions and complaints regarding our services have been resolved after the closure of your account, or if we need to retain your information to comply with legal requirements.

You cannot delete data that is still necessary to perform services you have requested, in particular the fulfillment and execution of contracts such as the delivery of an order.

The right to portability

This allows the Customer to receive the personal data they have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another data controller.

The right to take action

If you no longer wish to receive text messages, reply STOP to the text message you have received. In most cases, when an unsubscription does not seem to have been taken into account, it is because you have several email addresses and one of your addresses is redirected to the address you are trying to unsubscribe from.
